The research essay should be 11 double-spaced pages (excluding the bibliography and the cover page). Ensure that you state your argument in the introduction, support your assertions with evidence (citing any contrary views or evidence as relevant) and conclude by summarizing your findings and outlining any questions or avenues that may require future research. The research essay should draw upon at least 9-10 academic sources. If you use another author’s words, you must enclose them in quotes and cite the source. If you use another author’s ideas directly or indirectly, you must cite the source.
