The ANA Scope and Standards of Practice describe how registered nurses use the nursing process as the foundation for decision-making and care delivery. These are the standards of care you will be held accountable to as an RN. As you watch this video consider ANA standard 5 Implementation.
- Share an experience in your life (as a patient, family member, or professional) where the actions an RN implemented made a difference in the experience.
- Describe the implementation competencies that you have experience with as an LPN/LVN, with an example from your current practice
- Choose one implementation competency that you wish to develop more fully during this course. Share what that competency means to you. Include how you plan to learn and demonstrate that skill as you prepare to be an RN.
