Critical analysis
Discuss the rationale for why you chose your QI initiative. Refer to
local, national and international evidence that supports the need for a change
in practice and your review of the literature. You need to evaluate and
appraise the evidence you find making clear links to current practice within
your Trust and justifying the need for a change in practice.
The evidence for this need for this change comes
from your literature review and review of local/national guidance so it is
important to be thorough in your searches. You should use the relevant search
strategy and detail this (i.e PICO) in the main body of the text or as an
appendix. You should report the results
of your search using a PRISMA diagram
