Overview:

Welcome to the research project proposal.  This assignment is designed to give you the chance to work through a real proposal for research. 

Instructions:

1. Background and Rationale:

   • Review the provided background information on your topic (1/2 – 1 page)
   • Examine the rationale behind studying this relationship and consider its significance in the context of social psychology.
   • Review the literature in this area. Provide 3 citations at least. 

2. Research Objectives:

   • Familiarize yourself with the research objectives outlined in the proposal. Understand the specific goals of the study and the key questions to be addressed.
   • Answer the question, the goal of this research is to what?
   • Provide ONE research question. 

3. Methodology:

   • Explore the proposed methodology, including participant selection, measures, and data analysis methods.
   • Consider the ethical considerations outlined in the proposal and how they align with responsible research practices.

4. Research Proposal Draft:

   • Clearly articulate your research questions, hypotheses, and approach for the study.
   • Provide a tentative timeline for each phase of the research project.
