For the final paper, each student will research a pseudo-archaeological claim not discussed in class, and analyze it using peer-reviewed, academic sources as well as the knowledge and analytical skills acquired throughout the semester. What is the claim? Are there logical flaws in the argument? How, if at all, does the argument use archaeological data? And, what evidence would be necessary for the argument to be convincing?
Notes:
1) Papers should be four pages double spaced, size 12 font, excluding the title page and bibliography.
2) Papers must include both in-text citations and a bibliography that lists all sources consulted, including at least three academic, peer-reviewed sources.
