This is an ELA Capstone project. Throughout the course, most of my work has been conducted through a postcolonial lens so the incorporation of that would be fitting. The works examined should be “The Giver” by Lois Lowry, “Binti” by Nnedi Okorafor, “The Marrow Thieves” by Cherie Dimaline, “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, or “Children of Blood and Bone” by Tomi Adeyemi (Pick 3!). Attached is the project assignment page and the submitted paper prospectus which includes an annotated bibliography. The prospectus suggests several other YA books for analysis, however, I have decided to only use THREE.
