for the final will be a case study analysis. This will take the form of an argumentative essay. You will be asked to research your own case study – that is, a piece of journalism where an ethical problem was faced and a decision was made. You will outline what the ethical problem is and whether or not the problem was solved ethically (according to your own ethical philosophies). You will use the course readings and ethics guides to make your argument.

 The word count for the final will be 1500-1700 words.

** For my topic I have chosen the terrorist attack on 9/11 and the ethical issues in journalism/reporting that went into reporting the tragic event. 

In the files, I included A PowerPoint presentation that includes what the essay should be on and certain topics or points to cover. I have also included two in-class readings/sources that should be used/cited in the paper.  Then 2 additional sources about reporting/journalism ethics during 9/11 should be found online. Thank you!
