Your paper should be 6 pages in length – 1 cover page, 4 pages of content, and 1 reference/works cited page. When working on your paper, you should have a minimum of 4 sources from which you write your paper. If I were you, I would use my text as 1 source, and then find 3 other sources that relate to my topic. You are only allowed to use 1 website/URL, and this website MUST have an extension of .edu, .gov, .org. No extensions of .com are acceptable. Your additional 2 sources MUST come from either a journal (peer reviewed – check out the library database for this) or a book. It might be easier for you if you broke down your research paper as such:
Page 1 – Cover Page
Pages 2 – 4 Information specific to your topic
Page 5 – A summary of what I researched: information, my feelings, thoughts, etc.
Page 6 – Reference page/Works cited page
Your paper MUST be typed in a Word document using Times New Roman, size 12 font, 1” margins, and double-spaced. You will also use either MLA or APA format when writing your paper.
