notes provided by my teacher
Write a five-paragraph essay that reflects on how an experience caused a change of perspective for you.
- Introduction
 - The introduction sets up your writing by letting the reader know about your topic, and what you will discuss about it.
 - No major details should be here, it’s just where you let us know the goal of your writing. Think of it as a movie preview, you get the highlights and focus, but need to see the movie to see all of the main action.
 - Be sure that your introduction includes a thesis statement. This is the one sentence that all information in the body of your essay should point back to.
 - Body Paragraph 1
 - Focus on your perspective/view before the experience that caused the change.
 - Body Paragraph 2
 - Explain what, or who, caused your perspective to change.
 - Body Paragraph 3
 - Explain what, or who, caused your perspective to change.
 - Body Paragraph 4
 - Reflect on what this change has meant for you.
 - Conclusion
 - Summarize your essay and reinforce your thesis.
 - Do not bring up any new information in this paragraph.
