Reflection Presentation 4: “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” (KS)

Here is where you will find the particular set of questions at answer for each the article from the Uchmanowicz book that you must read and post on during the semester.  You will receive up to 15 points for each post.  By following a rubric that I will give to you for each essay assigned from the Uchmanowicz book, you will know what you need to do to score 15 points on each Reflection post. Your post must be original and must address the questions below in their entirety according to the requirements in the rubric. If you do not address these rubric questions specifically and clearly you will not get a good grade on the assignment.

Questions for your Single Narrative Post (Do not List!):

Describe clearly and convincingly how white privilege is like an invisible knapsack that needs to be unpacked?  How is it invisible? How must it be unpacked? How it it like a knapsack?   How convincing do you find her argument and why?  In the second half of your post, comment on the fact that in her Youtube video made in 2013 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRnoddGTMTY), she adds to her 1989 list with many more examples of white privilege in action.  Identify three of them those presented in 2013 but not in 1989.  Do these three examples and the other new ones generally demonstrate the continued existence of white privilege in your opinion? Why or why not?
