Please read Alfie Kohn’s The Punishment of Rewards (attached) and do the following: 

 

Write a two-to-three-page paper, APA style, double spaced that addresses the following: 

 

  1. Summarize Kohn’s thesis in the first paragraph. 

  1. In the second paragraph, write your own thesis about what Kohn believes. What do YOU believe? 

  1. In the rest of the paper, explain your experience with punishment and rewards in your classrooms. Provide examples, please. THEN, explain what you might use instead (transform…what will you do in the future?)
